What the Joint Is For

Silver brazing is a lower-temperature join used widely on sintered segments for tile, stone and lighter masonry. Laser welding fuses segments to the steel core at high energy, which is the usual choice for dry or hot concrete cutting where the joint must survive impact and heat. Neither joint is “better” in every material; each matches a duty cycle.

When Mixed Jobsites Cause Failures
