Arbor and Adapter Rings
Use the ring that matches the spindle exactly. Loose rings chatter; forced rings damage the centre. Confirm rotation arrows and max RPM before the first cut.
Flange Support
Undersized flanges let the steel core flex, which shows up as wavy cuts and cracked segments. Larger flanges stabilize thin blades on tile and stone bridges.
- Clean flange faces every blade change.
- Replace scarred or cupped flanges.
- Check runout with a dial indicator after mounting.
- Retorque to the saw maker’s spec—do not overtighten.
If you private-label blades, publish arbor and flange guidance with the SKU so end users mount them correctly.
